Bed Alcove
Pattern 188Description
Beds feel most restful when placed in an alcove off-axis from the door swing — the pattern provides a sense of enclosure without claustrophobia.
Why this exists
Sleepers feel exposed when the door swings open and they're in direct line of sight; alcoves give psychological enclosure.
