Couple's Realm
Pattern 136Description
The couple's bedroom should be a private retreat, separated from children's rooms by something — a hallway, a buffer, an upstairs/downstairs split. Adjacency to the kid's room makes it feel like an extension of the parenting work.
Why this exists
The couple's relationship needs spatial separation from the parenting role. Without it, the bedroom is just another work zone.
