Mudroom buffer at garage entry

GARAGE-MUDROOM-BUFFER

Description

Don't enter the kitchen directly from the garage. A mudroom (or even a small vestibule) buffers smells, noise, and dirt.

Why this exists

Garages are dirty, noisy, and smell like cars; the buffer keeps that out of the kitchen.
