Pantry sized + located near kitchen
LAY-PANTRY-01Description
Kitchens 150 sqft or larger should have an adjacent pantry (typically a `storage` room labeled "Pantry" or similar) for dry goods and small-appliance storage. Walk-in pantries are preferred for kitchens 200 sqft and up.
Why this exists
When a pantry exists, size it ≥ 20 sq ft and locate it adjacent to the kitchen. Smaller is a closet; further away is a storeroom.
